Diving Center La Gorgonia
A passion for the scuba diving world is the basis of the diving center "La Gorgonia", which is capable of satisfying the needs of every scuba diver.

La Gorgonia diving center offer:

Guided dives
For our daily excursions we have two boats.
1) A rubber dinghy of 7,40 mts with a 225 hp outboard engine, licenced to carry 15 divers.
2) A rubber dinghy of 8,40 mts with a 250 hp outboard engine, licenced to carry 20 divers.
Our imbarcation point is only 20 meters from our centre. The first dive is in the morning, and after coming back for lunch we leave for our second dive mid-afternoon. Our dive spots are chosen according to weather conditions, and we guarantee that our divers never repeat the same dives. The dive spots are between Lipari and Vulcano, and on reef, walls and submerged grottoes. Groups are divided between experienced divers and beginners, and always start with a briefing.

Full-day
We car arrange full-day dives at our centre, according to weather conditions. The two dives are at one or two of the 7 islands. We leave Lipari in the morning and return late afternoon. For transfers between the island we use on 8,40 mts dinghy. Groups are max. 10 divers. There is an additional supplement according to the distance from Lipari of the dive.

Night time dives
For nocturnal dives, the time of departure and destination is decided according to the weather conditions, and the personal requests of the client. For these immersions, the artificial lighting is supplied by the Diving Center.

PADI scuba courses
The diving Center La Gorgonia organizes basic Padi Open Water Diver and Assistant Instructor courses, and issues international Padi certificates. The courses can be taken in Italian and English. Times and dates for lessons can be arranged with flexible hours.

Our diving equipment is top quality
The Diving Center makes use of 45 single cylinders of 10,15,18 litres with double attachments INT/DIN, 20 complete diving gears with wet suits, jackets, regulator with pressure and depth gauge and second stage extra, fins, masks, torch/lighting, computer, etc.

Cylinder refills
The diving centre has 2 bauer compressors of 30.000 lts/hr (air/nitrox).

Personal diving equipment is washed free of charge.

Lodging
Diving center La Gorgonia organize special package offers for groups in association with hotels and residences.
